This premium Japanese-style katana embodies refined craftsmanship and artistic heritage, combining traditional forging techniques with exquisite decorative elements.
The blade is forged from T10 high-carbon steel and undergoes a traditional clay tempering process, producing a natural hamon (temper line) that reflects both strength and aesthetic depth. The blade features a shinogi-zukuri geometry with a defined yokote, finished through meticulous polishing to achieve a clean and elegant surface.
The highlight of this piece is its luxurious raden (mother-of-pearl) lacquer scabbard, displaying a shimmering speckled pattern that shifts under light, evoking a celestial effect. Complementing this are gilded copper fittings with silver detailing, adding a sense of prestige and historical elegance.
The handle is constructed with genuine ray skin (samegawa) and tightly wrapped cotton cord, secured by traditional bamboo mekugi, ensuring structural integrity and authentic construction.
Designed for high-end collectors, interior display, martial arts forms practice, and ceremonial gifting, this katana stands out as a statement piece of craftsmanship and culture.
For collection, display, and practice use only.
