The LOONGSWORD Japanese-Style Tachi brings together a polished 1065 high carbon steel blade and a black painted wood saya. Gold-tone crest motifs, a decorative braided cord and contrasting fittings give this modern collectible a distinctive display appearance.

Materials and finish

The 1065 high carbon steel blade is oil quenched and tempered. Zinc-alloy fittings have a gold-tone finish, while the black wrapped handle shows a diamond-pattern grip. The wooden scabbard has a painted surface.

Care and handling

Keep the blade dry, wipe it after handling and apply a light coat of protective oil before storage. This collectible is intended for adult display and collection. Do not use it for cutting or sparring. The pointed tip can still cause injury even with an unsharpened edge; handle carefully and keep away from children.
