Stingray Skin

Stingray skin is the tough, leathery skin of stingrays that is prized for its unique texture and durability. It is often used to make high-end leather goods, such as wallets, shoes, and handbags, due to its strength and durability. The process of harvesting stingray skin involves removing the skin from the dead rays, treating and tanning it to remove any impurities and make it soft and pliable. However, the harvesting of stingrays for their skin has caused concern for conservationists as some species of stingrays are now considered to be endangered.
